Travelling by car

Coming from Germany, the A8 Munich will take you via the A10 Salzburg to the highway exit Inzell, where you will follow the direction of Lofer – Saalfelden – Zell am See. On the Brucker Bundesstraße 168 four kilometers behind Zell am See you will reach a roundabout which you will leave at the third exit in direction to Kaprun. You will reach the same roundabout arriving from Italy leaving the A10 Salzburg at the highway exit Bischofshofen and following the direction of Zell am See. From Switzerland, it is the A12 Inntal highway that will take you directly to us via the highway exit Wörgl. Stay in the direction of Kitzbühel – Mittersill, follow the Mittersiller Straße and shortly after passing by Piesendorf pay close attention to the roundabout with the turnoff to Kaprun.

Whether coming from Mittersill or Zell am See, leave the roundabout at the Kaprun exit (between Pension Bohemia and Landhaus Jetzbach). Follow the Kapruner Straße, where you will cross the Salzach river and which, after a second roundabout, will lead you automatically into Landesstraße. CAUTION – at the following intersection do NOT turn left towards the center of Kaprun, but keep to the right of the Umfahrungsstraße and drive through the small tunnel. About 100 meters after the tunnel you will cross a small bridge on the left hand side and keep straight (slightly left) on Sportplatzstraße. In the second house on the left, opposite the JUFA, you will find the boutique hotel Pinzgauerhof (Sportplatzstraße 3), where we are looking to spoiling you for the duration of your stay.

Travelling by train and bus

By train, your journey will lead you to the central station of Zell am See. From there either a taxi or the ÖBB-Postbus line 660 (stop Jugendgästehaus Kaprun) will take you to us quickly and comfortably in less than 15 minutes.

Travelling by plane

Salzburg Airport W. A. ​​Mozart is about 80 minutes by car from Kaprun. From Munich Airport Franz-Josef-Strauß you can reach us in about 2.5 hours. From both airports you have several options to continue your journey: either by train to Zell am See (central station), by airport transfer or by taking a rental car.
